Most Unexpected

I'm, in my own little way, a part of the demoscene now. I never thought I'd get to say that.

But then I never thought I'd go to Assembly, or release a demo, or win a compo. Amazingly, all of those things happened, and I couldn't have done it without my partners at NoOP: 0xDB and Bentacle.

I'm still in a state of shock, or perhaps it's just jetlag. Who knows.

Because NOP was taken.

I've started a demoscene group with a few gentlemen. We're NOOP, and we make dumb things for smart people. Either that, or sit around and read manuals all day for no good reason; I'm not quite sure yet.

More to come.

Reboot

Housekeeping!

While this happens to be a personal site, I have no inclination of providing the world with a view into my thoughts or ideology beyond what's necessary. Instead, I've decided to devote this to my hobbies, which beyond writing include programming, travel, and the demoscene.

The problem I have with blogging is I don't feel comfortable saying anything publicly. Our society has regressed pitifully in recent years, and we place far too much stock on random words scrawled across the giant bathroom wall that is the net.

So perhaps I will say a few things; perhaps I won't.
